1/20th scale Nakajima Ki-43.1 Oscar

 This is a stunning Plan Pack for the Oscar to 1/20th scale. The plans are packed with my usual detail and information, and the outlines of the design are true-to-scale, these are probably the most accurate set of construction plans yet available for a flying model of the Ki-43. Note that these plan build the earlier ‘dash 1’ version, but could be modified to build the shorter span ‘dash 2’.

The model has a wingspan of 21.5 inches. It is designed to fly free flight using rubber power, but would convert very nicely to electric free flight using the Zombie speed controller, Voodoo 45 motor and 200mAh LiPo cell. It would also fly well as a park flyer with micro radio control using throttle (a slightly more powerful engine will be needed), aileron and elevator control. No conversion details are shown on the plan but this would be a simple task for the experienced builder.
